USB-C Extension Cable

This high-quality USB-C extension cable provides a simple way to reach further with your USB-C devices and cables. With a male USB-C connector on one side, and a female USB-C the other end, it's about as plug n' play as they come!

The cable is USB 3.2-rated and supports Power Delivery (PD) up to 65W, however please consider potential voltage drop due to the length of these cables.

We currently only stock a 3m length on this cable, and that will work well for some devices, and terribly for others:

Great for...

✅ Desktop Peripherals

• Perfect for extending low-bandwidth USB-C desk accessories like keyboards, mice, headsets, webcams, and printers.

✅ High-Voltage Charging (Laptops, Tablets, Phones)

• Because modern fast-charging boosts the voltage (up to 20V) rather than the current, this cable can easily charge your MacBook or iPhone from across the room without issue.

NOT suitable for...

❌ Raspberry Pi 5 Power Supply

• The Pi 5 pulls a massive 5A at a low 5V. Pushing that much current over a 3m extension causes a severe voltage drop, leading to under-voltage warnings, throttling, or crashing. You may get away with it on a Pi 4, but no guarantees!

❌ High-Speed Video/Data

• 4K video feeds or high-speed external SSDs will likely suffer from signal degradation over this distance.

❌ High-End NVMe SSDs

• If you plug an ultra-fast external SSD into this, it will likely drop down to much slower speeds or struggle to mount reliably due to signal loss.
