Shelly Analog 0-30V Add-on for The Pill

The Shelly Analog 0-30V Add-on allows you to measure analog sensors and DC voltages up to 30V via the Pill by Shelly. Use it to track sensor outputs, monitor batteries, or integrate low-voltage systems into your projects with confidence and precision.

Once connected to The Pill (not included), view the data and/or use it as a trigger in your home automation system, such as Home Assistant or the Shelly App.

Important! This add-on requires the 5-Terminal Add-on to connect with The Pill. The Pill by Shelly not included.

Hobby Analog Sensor Monitoring

If you enjoy building small DIY projects, the Analog 0-30 V Add-on lets you attach your favorite hobby sensors straight to The Pill by Shelly. Plug in a soil moisture probe, a light-sensitive LDR, or a simple sound sensor and see the values appear in the Shelly Smart Control app. Use them to start watering, turn on lights, or trigger custom actions. The Pill simply reads your sensor’s output and turns it into automation you can control.

Industrial Analog Sensor Integration

In professional environments, many systems rely on 0-10 V sensors to report critical measurements. By wiring these sensors into the Analog 0-30 V Add-on, The Pill by Shelly becomes your data bridge. It captures voltage levels from pressure, flow, or intensity sensors and sends them to the Shelly Smart Control app. You can then automate equipment, track process changes, or receive alerts when readings fall outside safe limits.

Voltage Monitoring for Battery Systems

In small battery-powered setups, even slight voltage changes can affect performance and reliability. With the Analog 0-30 V Add-on, The Pill by Shelly connects to your voltage sensors and gives you accurate real-time readings - whether it’s 3.7 V, 4.2 V, 12 V, 24 V, or other low-voltage sources. The moment levels shift, data reaches your Shelly Smart Control app, helping you react before power issues occur. Keep your batteries, UPS units, and backup systems stable and running longer.

• Before starting, wire check that the breakers are turned off and there is no voltage on their terminals. This can be done with a phase meter or multimeter. When you are sure that there is no voltage, you can start wiring the cables.
